Mt. Vernon, WA
This project included the construction of a new 6 million gallon reservoir and booster pumping station to replace the aged and undersized existing system. The new station and system is capable of the state required 2 day supply of water to its service area. The tank was built with prestressed concrete walls, a key element in supporting the height of the tank. This type of construction is not typically seen in the northern Puget Sound region.
GeoTest provided special inspection and testing services throughout construction. These services included inspection and testing of mass grading, reinforced concrete inspection and testing, prestressed concrete testing, structural steel inspection and adhesive anchor inspection
