Project Overview:
This FAA funded project involved the replacement and relocation of Taxiway Bravo and reconstruction of the North Ramp Taxilane. Taxiway Bravo had extensive cracking and a replacement was constructed 100 feet North of its original placement. Additional site improvements included construction of a new detention pond and water quality treatment facilities, a new aircraft parking apron and milling and overlaying the existing outer ramp.
Services Provided:
GeoTest provided quality control materials testing services throughout this project, working closely with the contractor and project team. The project required nightwork and weekend work during closures. Due to the fast-paced nature of the project, it was critical that laboratory test results were delivered on time an accurate. With our Snohomish County Laboratory we were able to consistently meet these expedited turnaround times. Our services including compaction and testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt as well as concrete sampling and testing.
